2012 LNHFF HORROR CON

On Saturday October 6th, the Late Night Horror Film Festival kicked off it's first annual HorrorCon.  The Moose Lodge in Whittier was transformed into an expo center where vendors, including various artists, magazines, and specialty shops mixed and mingled with patrons and each other-all sharing their collective passion for horror films, pinup culture, rock and electronic music.  Guests were greeted by the event's founder and producer, Tony Lucero, and guest horror hostess & pinup model Sali Gia. Hungry patrons were treated to gourmet Asian Fusion quisine from "Let's Roll It". Musical performances included a horror movie video mix show by Vestax sponsored DJ KOS from Reno, Nevada, and a live performance by indie rock group BigAmy. Throughout the event, audiences screened the short film selections & had Q&A sessions and Meet & Greets with participating filmmakers.  GRAVERIDES MAGAZINE, the event's presenting sponsor, along with Southern California hearse club PHANTOM COACHES, rolled in with custom hearses and gravely displayed them for audiences to marvel at.  HOUSE OF ZOMBIE, closed the festivities with their heavy hitting
(and VERY AUTHENTIC) tribute performances to the horror realm's king of horror rock and famed film director Rob Zombie.

-Part of the proceeds benefitted the Norwalk/Whittier Moose Lodge's charitable efforts.
